Test the hypothesis that Y10 phosphorylation of LDHA is upregulated in human metastatic cancer cells and correlates with human cancer progression.
Test the hypothesis that Y10 phosphorylation activates LDHA and promotes cancer cell invasion and/or cell proliferation in vitro.
Test the hypothesis that Y10 phosphorylation of LDHA promotes tumorigenic and/or metastatic ability in breast cancer and HNSCC cells using nude mouse models of tumors and metastases in vivo.
